Blurred Lines helps Pharrell Williams land rare chart feat
Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines has scored a second week atop the pop charts.
The song's success lands Pharrell Williams a rare chart feat - he features on the top two records on the new Billboard Hot 100 countdown, Blurred lines and Daft Punk's Get Lucky, which rises to two. The last act to do that was Black Eyed Peas back in 2009 when Boom Boom Pow and I Gotta Feeling spent a week at numbers one and two.
Ironically, Williams' Blurred Lines co-collaborator T.I. also
managed the feat in 2008 when Whatever You Like and Live Your Life
topped the Hot 100.
Meanwhile, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' former number one Can't Hold Us
drops to three on the new chart, Imagine Dragons' Radioactive
climbs to four and Mirrors by Justin Timberlake rounds out the top
five.
