Blake Lively celebrates birthday with Anna Kendrick and pals

Birthday girl Blake Lively was joined by pal Anna Kendrick as she celebrated turning 30 with an intimate dinner party.

The former Gossip Girl beauty marked the age milestone on Friday (25Aug17) and gathered her nearest and dearest for a restaurant outing over the weekend (26-27Aug17), when guests included Kendrick and celebrity jewelry designers Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira Sandberg, who had made a special trip to party with Lively.

Alongside an Instagram photo of herself with her unexpected visitors, the actress wrote, "Best bday (birthday) surprise = my sisters from a different mama @lorraineschwartz @ofirajewelz Love you til I'm 40. But not a day longer."

She also posted a snap of the group at dinner, where Blake was seated next to Kendrick as they posed with two birthday cakes.

"My super sweet 16. ...but like 14 years late," she quipped in the accompanying caption.

The two actresses are due to star in director Paul Feig's upcoming thriller, A Simple Favor.

Blake's husband Ryan Reynolds was not featured in the social media posts. He is currently filming his Deadpool sequel on location in Vancouver, Canada, but he took a moment to wish his wife well on Friday, when he shared a red carpet photo of the couple online.

However, the actor, who is known for his sense of humor, cropped the majority of Blake's face out of the image, so the focus was on Ryan and his tuxedo.

"Happy Birthday to my amazing wife," he captioned the cheeky image.
