Blac Chyna lays claim to Kardashian name - report
Blac Chyna has reportedly filed legal documents to claim the name "Angela Renee Kardashian".
The 27-year-old model is expecting a baby with fiance Rob Kardashian. And as she prepares to enter what is undoubtedly the most famous family in the world, TMZ.com has obtained paperwork she has submitted to set the wheels in motion to become an official Kardashian.
Blac, whose birth name is Angela Renee White, is laying claim to
what will be her married name - Angela Renee Kardashian - in a bid
to make a profit from the moniker for "entertainment services,
television and movie appearances". She also refers to herself in
the documents as a "social media celebrity".
Blac's baby will be her second - she is already mother to
three-year-old son King Cairo, whose father Tyga is currently in a
relationship with Rob's half sister Kylie Jenner.
The Kardashian-Jenner clan has yet to publicly congratulate the
couple on the baby news, but Blac's mother, Tokyo Toni, shared her
excitement over her daughter's pregnancy with a video posted to
Instagram.
"I just got off the phone with my daughter and soon to be
son-in-law and they told me I'm about to be a grandma," she smiled.
"I'm super excited for them and I can't wait for this new addition
to the family.
"As well, I'd like to congratulate the other side of the family,
which are the Kardashians and the Jenners. Congratulations, guys.
We're having a baby!"
Rob and Blac began dating in January (16). Over the weekend, Blac
and Rob were forced to pull out of two club events - one in Los
Angeles on Friday night (06May16), and another in Atlantic City,
New Jersey on Saturday due to the model's morning sickness.
In a post that has now been deleted, Blac wrote on Instagram,
"Sorry LA & Atlantic City I really wasn't feeling well LAST night
which fell over to this MORNING causing us to miss our flight, Rob
and I want to apologize for missing these events for we were
looking forward to them as well but new dates are coming soon
(sic)!"
