Billie Joe Armstrong rants at festival bosses over one-minute warning

Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong lashed out at organisers of the iHeartRadio music festival in Las Vegas on Friday (21Sep12) after he was given a one-minute warning before the end of the band's performance.

The rockers were partway through their set at the event in Sin City when bosses flashed a sign to let Armstrong know he had 60 seconds performance time left before Usher was set to take to the stage.

The warning riled the star, who cut his performance short to attack officials in an expletive-filled rant.

He growled, "F**k this s**t. Give me a f**king break. One minute left. One minute f**king left. You're gonna give me one f**king minute?

"Let me f**king tell you something, let me tell you something, I've been around since f**king 198-f**king-8 (sic). And you're gonna give me one f**king minute? You've gotta be f**king kidding me! You're f**king kidding me. What the f**k!"

"I'm not f**king Justin Bieber, you motherf**kers! You've gotta be f**king joking. This is a f**king joke."

The band then went on to trash their guitars before leaving the stage.
