Beyonce takes fans behind the scenes of comeback

Beyonce has given fans a sneak peak of her first concerts since becoming a mum, ahead of her return to the stage on Memorial Day weekend (25-28May12).

In a new behind-the-scenes video, the pop superstar is seen planning and rehearsing dance routines for her four consecutive gigs at the Revel resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey, which kick off on Friday (25May12).

Beyonce also talks about her nerves ahead of the sold-out shows, which come just four months after she gave birth to her daughter Blue Ivy in January (12).

She says, "It is exciting. I feel a little nervous. I'm enjoying being a mother but this is like going back to my old job, and it's a little strange but it's important that you don't lose yourself. You have to have your own passion. I'm back to work. I'm back to business!"

The Crazy in Love hitmaker also consults with her rapper husband Jay-Z at a setlist meeting, does push-ups and exercises, sketches her set at a stage design meeting, and warms up her vocal cords by singing her hit Halo, joking: "You know I haven't sang in a year!"

Beyonce's last concerts took place in August (11) when she played four dates at New York's Roseland Ballroom.
