Beyonce surprised Nicki Minaj with diamond necklace

Beyonce surprised her friend Nicki Minaj with a diamond necklace to thank her for featuring on a remix of the superstar's song Flawless.

Earlier this month (Aug14), the Drunk in Love hitmaker released a surprise version of the song from her self-titled album, with an added verse by Minaj.

Both music stars took to the stage at Sunday's (24Aug14) MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles, and Beyonce showed her thanks to the Superbass hitmaker with a one of a kind gift.

Minaj took to Instagram.com on Monday (25Aug14) and posted a photo of a gold necklace with the word Flawless encrusted in diamonds, along with the caption, "If Beyonce didn't walk into your dressing room and give you a diamond 'FLAWLESS' necklace, then there's no way you could be having a better week than me.

"Thank u QUEEN. ur (sic) just a precious gem. I could never thank you enough for your influence on powerful women all around the world."
