Beyonce recruits Texas rap stars for new remix

Beyonce is shining the spotlight on her home state of Texas after recruiting rap natives Bun B, Slim Thug and Scarface to feature on the hip-hop remix to her new song I Been On.

Fellow Houston stars Lil Keke, Willie D and Z-Ro also appear on the new version of the track and Bun B dedicated the reworking to his tragic UGK bandmate Pimp C and late pal DJ Screw as he debuted the tune online on Friday (29Mar13).

Sharing a link on Twitter.com, he wrote, "This for Pimp C. Screw. H Town (Houston)... IBeenOnRemix (sic)".

Pimp C died in 2007, while DJ Screw passed away in 2000.

It's not the first time Beyonce has worked with Bun B and Slim Thug - the trio teamed up for a remix of her 2005 single Check On It.
