Ashton Kutcher eyes up tour with country star Thomas Rhett
Ashton Kutcher wants to join country star Thomas Rhett on tour after they shared the stage at a charity gig.
Ashton joined Thomas to sing a cover of Garth Brooks' Friends In Low Places at the concert raising funds for Ashton's charity The Native Fund in Iowa City, Iowa last Saturday (27Aug16).
And the Die a Happy Man singer revealed the Hollywood star enjoyed
their duet so much he wants to go on the road with him.
"He (Ashton) emailed me last night and said, 'Hey dude, I am going
to go on the road full-time with you,'" Thomas told Entertainment
Tonight at Tuesday's (30Aug16) 10th Annual Academy of Country Music
Honors ceremony.
And it seems the pair may be making plans to perform regularly
together as he added, "Maybe we can do a little tour together or
something."
At the charity gig the duo belted out Garth's' 1990 hit while
drinking beers in front of a delighted audience.
After the performance Thomas wrote on Twitter, "Thanks for helping
me out @aplusk (Ashton's Twitter handle) your hometown crowd in
Iowa City brought the heat!"
The Native Fund was set up by Ashton and football star Dallas Clark
to help their fellow Iowans. They were moved to create the fund
after the film star's hometown of Cedar Rapids was devastated by
floods in 2008.
