Ashley Tisdale's stalker jailed
A man accused of stalking actress Ashley Tisdale has been jailed for pestering the former High School Musical star online and in person.
Nicholas Fiore pleaded no contest to felony stalking in court on Wednesday (11Sep13) and he was sentenced to spend a year behind bars.
He was arrested in June (13) and charged with violating a
restraining order she was granted against him, after claiming Fiore
threatened to shoot her, and bombarded her with more than 18,000
tweets.
As well as his jail time, Fiore was sentenced to a year of
outpatient counselling and five years probation, and fined $350
.
A criminal protective order, which requires him to stay at least
100 yards away from Tisdale, will remain in effect for the next
five years, according to TMZ.com.
