Ariel Winter: 'I'm single'

Actress Ariel Winter has dismissed rumors she is dating her longtime friend Sterling Beaumon, insisting she is single.

The two former child stars have known one another for years, and they recently reconnected following Ariel's split from boyfriend Laurent Claude Gaudette.

During a recent outing they attended the SkySpace Launch Party in Los Angeles in July (16), when they posed for photos with their arms around one another.

An eyewitness told E! News, "They left together. They were seen hanging out all night and it seemed like they were more than just friends. They were definitely very flirty and always close to each other."

Ariel and Lost actor Sterling were also spotted hanging out with friends at celebrity Los Angeles hotspots like The Roxy and The Nice Guy, as well as taking in a concert together, according to the publication.

However, the Modern Family star has now dismissed the latest dating rumors, taking to Twitter to rule them out, writing: "Everyone thinking I'm taken when I'm just over here like hi I'm single AF (as f**k).

Ariel confirmed she and Gaudette were no longer dating in June (16) with a telling post on Instagram.

"When you're surprised that people just haven't gotten it yet..." she posted, before adding a throwback clip of Kim Kardashian stating, "I'm dropping hints that I'm single."

She also wrote: "Love doesn't die, it simply evolves. We grow up, we realize what we truly want. I'm excited for this new chapter in my love life - love is all around... Family, friends, pizza... The old and the new."
