Ariana Grande splits from Jai Brooks again - report

Ariana Grande has reportedly split from her singer boyfriend Jai Brooks for a second time.

The Problem hitmaker previously dated the Australian singer for 11 months until their split in July, 2013, and they reconciled earlier this year (14).

However, their relationship has come to an end yet again, and an insider tells E! News her decision to split from Brooks came after he allegedly failed to be by her side as she mourned the loss of her beloved grandfather last month (Jul14).

The source reveals, "When her grandfather was dying, everyone was there for her. People flew to Florida to be with her, but Jai didn't. Ariana just felt he wasn't there like he should have been."

On Monday (04Aug14), Grande even posted a cryptic message on Twitter.com, reportedly taking a sly aim at her ex-boyfriend.

She wrote, "July was painful for many reasons but of all the personal loss I suffered last month, the loss of my grandfather, a true gentleman, was the only one that truly mattered.

"I thank my loves for being so in tune to what is good and right for me and my heart. I hope you will surround yourselves with people who will be there for you thru (sic) the bad times, not just the good. I thank everybody who was here for me when I needed them as the ones who weren't really broke my heart."

The couple initially split after Brooks accused the pop star of cheating on him with The Wanted's Nathan Sykes last year (13).
