Ariana Grande's mother loses it after hearing her new music

Ariana Grande has shared her mother's enthusiastic reaction to a sneak preview of her new album.

The singer posted a clip of her mother on Instagram screaming in delight after hearing a snippet of her album Dangerous Woman, which drops next month (May16).

Ariana's video shows Joan Grande driving and reacting in exuberant fashion to her daughter’s third studio album on Wednesday (20Apr16). "Ariana!" she screams. "I’m not kidding! That’s the best song I ever heard! … Holy s**t!", her mother exclaimed, as she finished listening to the new tracks.

An amused Ariana couldn't help but share her proud mother's moment and wrote in the caption accompanying the clip "mom’s genuine reaction when I played her the album."

Although her mum is undoubtedly her biggest cheerleader - and slightly biased - Joan previously tweeted her daughter's album is her “best one yet” and “will change things up for sure.”

Meanwhile Ariana and Nicki Minaj have just been announced as the star performers at the Time 100 Gala on 26 April (16), according to Page Six.

Among the expected guests at the star-studded gala are Caitlyn Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci, Melissa McCarthy, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Star Wars producer Kathleen Kennedy and Martha Stewart.
