Ariana Grande pulls out of Welcome America Philly Jam
Ariana Grande has pulled out of a planned performance at the annual Independence Day Philly Jam festival in Pennsylvania at the eleventh hour due to "unforeseen personal circumstances".
The Problem hitmaker alerted concert officials to her issues on Friday (04Jul14), hours before she was due to hit the stage alongside performers like Nikki Minaj, Ed Sheeran, Jennifer Hudson and local heroes The Roots, who help organize the yearly free bash.
The Roots star Questlove alerted fans to her decision, tweeting,
"Sending prayers & strength to @ArianaGrande's family. Due to
unfortunate uncontrollable circumstances she has to cancel her
#PhillyJam slot."
At press time it still wasn't clear why Grande had been forced to
pull out of the show, but it appears it has nothing to do with her
love life - on Thursday (03Jul14), the singer/actress confirmed
comedian Jai Brooks is her "everything" after recently reconciling
with her ex.
Brooks, 19, professed his love to the star on her 21st birthday
last month (26Jun14), tweeting: “happy birthdays to the most
beautiful girl in the world, you are 21!!! you’re my world I really
love you. here’s to so many more memories!!”
