Ariana Grande: 'I have fallen out of touch with my father'

Singer/actress Ariana Grande has revealed she is no longer in contact with her father.

The Problem hitmaker, who is still grieving following the death of her grandfather earlier this month (Jun14), tells Seventeen magazine the estrangement is the hardest thing she's had to go through.

She tells the publication, "It's private, but it happened last year. It took me so long to be OK with it. The thing that got me there was embracing the fact that I am made up of half my dad, and a lot of my traits come from him.

"So much of me comes from my father, and, for so long, I didn't like that about myself. I had to accept that it's OK not to get along with somebody and still love them."

Grande refused to go into details about what prompted the split between her father and herself.
