Ansel Elgort taking on twin roles in new movie

Ansel Elgort is taking on double duty in his new movie Jonathan.

The Fault in Our Stars actor will play an architect and his twin brother, who find themselves dating the same woman.

Bill Oliver will direct the movie, which is slated to begin filming in New York next month (Sep16).

Ansel is not the only actor to pull double duty on a movie set - in 2015, British actor Tom Hardy portrayed both of London's infamous Kray twins in Legend, while Jesse Eisenberg also took on dual roles in The Double, and Hayley Mills and Lindsay Lohan played twins in the two versions of The Parent Trap.

Meanwhile, Ansel is also staying busy with his blossoming music career - last month (Jul16), he premiered his debut solo single, Home Alone. He is also interested in scoring movies.

"That's definitely a goal of mine and something I want to do," he told Complex last month. "Whenever I read a script, whenever I'm in a movie, I always have (an) idea of what the music should sound like and that seems like the natural, next progression for me. I would love to one day score films as well as act in them. It'd be something that's really cool and something that isn't common."
