Anne Hathaway is handling motherhood like 'a boss'
Actress Anne Hathaway's husband Adam Shulman has heaped praise on his wife's parenting skills.
The couple welcomed son Jonathan Rosebanks on 24 March (16) and nearly two months following the birth, Adam reports Anne doesn't seem to be struggling at all with any aspect of motherhood.
“She always amazes me,” he gushed to People magazine. “As a mother,
she is gorgeous.”
Adam, a jewelry designer, recently created a line inspired by his
wife's new Disney movie Alice Through the Looking Glass, and now
that filming is complete, he is delighted Anne has not signed on to
star in any new projects, as he wants them both to commit to family
for the foreseeable future.
“My wife was away working and she said, ‘I feel like when I am away
I don’t have the light in my life. I miss my family, I miss you, I
miss the light in my life'," he explained.
Adam is finding every moment of parenthood with Anne absolutely
delightful and he thinks they're off to a great start as mom and
dad.
“I love changing diapers! It’s the best,” he smiled. “Every aspect
of it is amazing. Every day makes me appreciate her (Hathaway)
more."
The couple made its first red carpet appearance since the birth on
Thursday (12May16) when Adam accompanied the new mom to the
premiere of Alice Through the Looking Glass.
Anne reprises her role as Mirana of Marmoreal, the White Queen, in
the sequel to 2010's Alice in Wonderland, which also features the
return of her co-stars Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, and Mia
Wasikowska, who portrays the titular Alice in the Lewis Carroll
adaptation.
