Anne Hathaway blasts film critics for name error

Anne Hathaway reprimanded officials at Broadcast Film Critics Association at the Critics' Choice Awards on Thursday night (10Jan13) for spelling her name incorrectly on a previous trophy.

The actress was named Best Supporting Actress for her role in Les Miserables by the organization and she wanted to make sure they didn't mess up again as she accepted the prize from co-star Eddie Redmayne.

Hathaway said, "This is a bittersweet moment for me because I have this award but you spelled my name wrong. It is with an 'e'. It's probably in bad taste for me to point that out here."

She won the Best Actress award at the Critics' Choice Awards in 2009 for her dramatic role in Rachel Getting Married.

She ended her acceptance speech on a high note by thanking her "brand new husband" Adam Shulman, stating she could not love him "more than I do".
