Angelina Jolie enjoyed dinner with Jack O'Connell's family
Angelina Jolie insisted on taking Jack O'connell's entire family out to dinner in his native England to get to know the up-and-coming star.
The Maleficent actress directed Unbroken, a wartime biopic in which O'Connell portrays Olympic runner-turned-prisoner Louis Zamperini.
She has previously described O'Connell as the "least Hollywood
person I've ever met", and he has now revealed she wanted to get to
know his roots and meet his family.
She arrived at his hometown in Derbyshire, England on board a
helicopter before heading out to dinner with his closest
relatives.
O'Connell tells Britain's The Observer Magazine, "She's really
gotten to know all my people. She's done things like meet my family
and taken us for dinner - one night in Derbyshire. She asked me to
pick 10 or 11 people - aunties, godparents, my mum, my nana, who is
78 - and she flew up in her helicopter to this hotel...
Madness."
