Amy Smart studying to become professional nutritionist

Actress Amy Smart has been hitting the books in a bid to qualify as a nutrition expert.

The Road Trip star, 37, reveals she is serious about learning all about healthy eating and she is currently in the process of becoming a food professional.

She tells Us Weekly magazine, "I'm studying to be a certified nutrition coach. Right now, I'm reading Integrative Nutrition by Joshua Rosenthal and taking an online course."

But Smart claims she isn't looking to leave Hollywood to embark on a new career path just yet.

She says, "(I'm) not sure what I want to do with it - we'll see what happens down the line. (But) I've learned so much already!"
