Amber Rose posts sweet message to dance partner after show elimination
Amber Rose has found a “brother for life” in her Dancing With The Stars partner Maks Chmerkovskiy.
The pair was eliminated from the TV competition on Monday night (17Oct16), with Amber holding back tears as she said her goodbyes.
She and Maks grew close during rehearsals and live shows and the
32-year-old shared her love for the professional dancer in a
touching tribute on her Instagram alongside a photo of them in
their final performance outfits.
“Although our time was cut short @maksimc I'm so happy I had the
chance to experience this with you! You truly are my brother for
life! Who knew we would become so close in such a short amount of
time?” she wrote. “Thank you for not giving up on me and getting to
know the real me with no judgment I'll love you forever for that
reason and I'll always have ur back through whatever. I'll miss our
stressed out rehearsals more then anything tho Love Amberony
(sic)”.
In the picture Amber wears a sparkling red and black blazer with
fishnet tights, while Maks looks dapper while pulling a silly pose
in pinstripe trousers and a black shirt with braces. The performer
posted the same snap on his Instagram account accompanied with a
message to Amber, praising her efforts and sharing how “proud” of
her he is.
The pair certainly had their ups and downs throughout the program,
with clips from their rehearsals showing Amber storming out crying
on several occasions.
Despite saying she had the “time of her life” dancing the cha-cha
with Maks on Monday, it wasn’t enough to save them against fellow
celebrity contestants including Jana Kramer and Calvin Johnson
Jr.
“It was such an amazing experience,” Amber gushed after being voted
out. “People don’t know this about me, but I’m really shy in a lot
of ways and I think that showed on the ballroom floor. So I tried
my best and thank you so much for having me here.”
