Amanda Bynes' Twitter hacked
Embattled actress Amanda Bynes has fallen victim to cyber criminals after her Twitter.com blog was hacked while she remains under doctors' care in a psychiatric facility in California.
The Hairspray star was rumored to have been granted Internet access on Saturday (31Aug13) after a random message reading "I love Drake" popped up on the micro-blogging site in an apparent reference to the rapper she has both praised and savagely criticized in bizarre online rants in recent months.
However, her attorney, Tamar Armanak, has been quick to set the
record straight about the tweet, insisting Bynes has not been
allowed to log on since she was hospitalized for mental health
issues in July (13).
Armanak tells RadarOnline.com, "Amanda's Twitter account has been
hacked. She is at the UCLA Medical Center with no access to phones
or computers."
Bynes was recently transferred to UCLA from a facility in Ventura
County, California at the request of her mother Lynne, who was
named temporary conservator of her daughter's estate last month
(Aug13) when her hospital stay was extended for another 30
days.
Meanwhile, Armanak has also distanced Bynes and her family from any
association with publicist Jonathan Jaxson, who has been offering
up comments about the star's health progress to various media
outlets.
The lawyer tells Eonline.com, "Jonathan Jaxson does not represent
the Bynes family or Amanda. We are not sure why he is commenting on
Amanda's health care or representing himself as a publicist hired
by her family. Amanda's family continues to be devoted to their
daughter's well being."
Jaxson previously hit headlines in 2011 after former client Kim
Kardashian filed suit against the spokesman for making false claims
about her alleged attempts to gain media attention in the wake of
the reality TV star's split from husband of 72 days, Kris
Humphries.
