Amanda Bynes returns to spotlight at fashion show

Troubled actress Amanda Bynes returned to the public eye on Friday (21Mar14) to attend a fashion show in Santa Monica, California, marking her first public appearance since her 2013 meltdown and rehab stay.

The former child star was hospitalized last August (13) on an involuntary psychiatric hold following months of bizarre behavior, and she completed a stay in rehab in December (13).

She is now living with her parents in California and studying at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Orange County, and Bynes proved she has bounced back by attending the college's fashion show.

Bynes detailed her outing in a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, sharing snaps of herself looking happy and healthy, and posing with her parents at the event.

She returned to Twitter.com at the beginning of this month (Mar14) to address her fans after months of silence.
