Amanda Bynes 'arrested for pot possession'
Amanda Bynes was arrested in New York on Thursday (23May13) after cops allegedly found drugs at her home, according to reports.
Officers showed up at the Hairspray star's building to investigate a call about a disorderly person, and allegedly discovered marijuana in her apartment, reports TMZ.com.
Amanda Bynes was booked on charges of reckless endangerment,
criminal possession of marijuana and tampering with evidence after
she allegedly threw a bong out of the window.
Reports from NBC News suggest the 27 year old was taken to the
city's Roosevelt Hospital to undergo a psychiatric evaluation and
then to a police station to be processed.
The arrest comes amid growing fears for Amanda Bynes' wellbeing
after a series of bizarre incidents.
Earlier this week (begs19May13), she accused editors of In Touch of
doctoring snaps purportedly taken during a party at her dirty and
drug-strewn apartment.
Amanda Bynes was fined and placed on three years' probation for
driving on a suspended license earlier this month (May13).
