Alicia Keys' son working with Q-Tip

Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz's five-year-old son is lending his production skills to rap icon Q-Tip's new album.

Little Egypt Dean has already displayed his impressive beatmaking talent by contributing to Kendrick Lamar's track untitled 07 2014 - 2016, from his surprise album untitled unmastered., with superproducer Swizz going public with his boy's involvement on Instagram last month (Mar16).

Now the proud dad has revealed Egypt has been hitting the studio with A Tribe Called Quest legend Q-Tip, after posting new footage of the pair at work on social media.

In the video clip, the kid is shown using a drum pad as Q-Tip sings along in the background.

"The teacher & the student pure vibes..........," Swizz captioned the post.

The studio session is thought to be for Q-Tip's forthcoming solo album, The Last Zulu.

Swizz previously gushed about Egypt's first professional foray into beatmaking by declaring his Kendrick collaboration the "best Dad moment everrrrr (sic)".

"Congrats to my son Egypt for producing his 1st track on this amazing Kendrick (album)," he continued when he shared the video clip in March (16).

Alicia also reposted the video and added, "He got up that morning humming a melody..... We went to the piano to find it....he picked it out by ear....he loves to play.... I know that feeling. Congratulations Egypt for practicing and learning and trying and listening to the music in your heart!"

The excited parents, who also share one-year-old son Genesis, also celebrated Egypt's early achievement in a statement to Entertainment Weekly.

"As parents of creative children, this is an amazing day in music," they exclaimed. "We have always encouraged Egypt to create the music he feels, and as much as he has fun with it, he works very hard and is always practicing. There's so many talented kids in the world, and we admire Kendrick for supporting the next generation of amazing artists. May we always cultivate and support the dreams of our children."
