Alexander Skarsgard: 'Lady Gaga slipped me the tongue!'
Lady Gaga slipped Alexander Skarsgard the tongue when he appeared in her Paparazzi video.
The eccentric singer released the tune as a single in 2009, and enlisted Swedish heartthrob Alexander to act as her love interest for the accompanying video. In the clip Gaga playing a doomed starlet, who struggles with the pressures of fame and Alexander appeared as her boyfriend, who pushes her off a balcony during a passionate exchange. However, Gaga eventually gets her revenge by poisoning Alexander's character.
The True Blood star was questioned about the experience during a
quick fire question round on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday
night (30Jun16), and admitted that Gaga got slightly more
passionate than he had anticipated when they locked lips.
When host Andy Cohen asked Alexander if Gaga was a good kisser, he
replied with a very quick, "Yes". Andy then enquired if Gaga had
used tongue, and if he reciprocated, and Alexander answered "Yes"
to both questions.
Alexander admitted he was less than impressed by his death in the
video, laughing: "Jonas (Akerlund), the director of the video, I
tried to convince him to give me more of a glamorous death but… he
wasn’t having it."
The actor, who can next be seen in the title role in upcoming movie
The Legend of Tarzan, also praised the singer's then fledgling
acting skills.
Alexander described Gaga as "incredible", adding: "We spoke Swedish
as well in the video!"
The singer has since gone on to enjoy huge success as an actress in
TV show American Horror Story: Hotel, a role which earned her a
Golden Globe award.
