Ailing Miley Cyrus laments missing 4/20 holiday

An ailing Miley Cyrus's hospital stay wrecked her plans of celebrating cannabis culture's 4/20 holiday on Sunday (20Apr14).

The Wrecking Ball hitmaker has made her marijuana use no secret, but a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics she was taking for a sinus infection has forced her to miss out on this year's (14) festivities on 20 April - a date which has a special meaning to pot smokers due to its link to 4.20pm, the time when the first stoner icons liked to get high.

An agitated Cyrus took to Twitter.com and wrote, "Boutta (sic) be the wackest 4/20 ever.

"Happy 420/ Easter! I’ll be where I’ve been the passed (sic) week. In bed. Crying. NOT stoned. wackkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk (sic)."

The singer has also axed the remainder of her Bangerz Tour in the U.S. All dates have been rescheduled for August (14).

She is still expected to continue with the European leg of the world trek, which kicks off on 2 May (14) in Amsterdam, Holland - the cannabis world's stoner mecca.
