Adele surprised a few lucky fans attending her concert in Manchester, England on Monday (07Mar16) with a hand-written message.

The British soul superstar secretly signed five programmes which were put on sale along with the rest of her tour merchandise sold at the city's Manchester Arena.

"I've only signed five of these," the scrawled message read. "Thanks to coming to my first Manchester show. Adele x."

One fan who was lucky enough to purchase one of the special signed copies was Ben Mycroft, who later took to Twitter.com to thank the Hello singer, writing, "Words can never thank you enough @Adele thank you for my signed Tour Merch Program."

Ben revealed that he's such a huge fan of Adele that he will also be going to see her again on Thursday (10Mar16) as she performs the last of her four performances in the city.

"Adele was amazing I'm seeing her again on Thursday night with my friend Sarah," he tells Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper. "Adele is my role model she's amazing I bought so much merchandise tonight. I would just love to thank Adele one day for everything what she's done for me."

The extra-special souvenirs are just the latest touching gesture Adele has made to fans as she embarks on her world tour, and she is expected to sign more programmes which will be available to a few lucky fans at her future tour dates.

When she kicked off her tour in Belfast last month (Feb16), Adele dropped in on a seriously ill youngster at her home, as well as helping a ticketless fan attend her gig in the Northern Irish city.

At Monday's Manchester concert, the singer also allowed a young girl to join her on stage, and announced that one couple in attendance were expecting a baby.

After the four Manchester dates, the Adele Live 2016 tour moves on to London where she will perform at the city's O2 Arena and then she will travel to Glasgow, Scotland. Her first date outside the British Isles is in Stockholm in 29 April (16).

Before heading off on tour, the singer topped off an amazing few months, which saw her comeback album 25 top charts around the world, by winning four Brit Awards at the British music awards last month.
