Adele is pining for a second baby
Adele's womb is "starting to ache a little bit" now her son is approaching the age of four.
The 28-year-old singer is mother to Angelo with partner Simon Konecki. But Adele told the audience at her concert in Nashville, Texas, on Saturday night (15Oct16) that Angelo's advancing years are making her pine for another baby.
"My son is about to turn four very, very soon," Adele told the
crowd, according to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper. "I’m starting
to get very emotional about it because I feel like once they turn
four, they’re not really your actual baby anymore.
"So my womb is starting to ache a little bit. It’s like, 'Baby,
baby, baby. Need a baby, need a baby!'"
However, Adele denied she is already expecting, adding: "I’m not
pregnant. I won’t get pregnant until the end of the tour."
The Skyfall singer's 107-date world tour is due to come to an end
in November (16).
Adele's comments on Saturday night are a stark contrast to those
she made in July, when she told the audience at her Minnesota
concert that she wasn't planning to procreate again anytime
soon.
"I don’t think I can have another child. I mean, I can. But I don’t
think I want two," she said.
Adele has embraced motherhood since welcoming Angelo into the
world, and is said to be planning to take a hiatus from the music
industry when her tour finishes so she can fully focus on her
family.
Speaking to U.K. TV host Graham Norton earlier this year, Adele
explained just how much her world has altered since becoming a
mother.
"It's changed me completely, in every single way possible and
something much bigger than myself happened, and I had been craving
that without realizing," she said.
"I was always yearning for something and I never knew what it
was."
