Adele ends estrangement with her dad - report

Adele has reportedly ended her estrangement from the father she once swore she'd spit at if she saw him in the street.

Marc Evans reportedly reconciled with his famous daughter while she was writing songs for her comeback album, 25.

Father and daughter fell out in 2012 when Evans told the media the singer was struggling to find love because he abandoned her and her mother when he walked out on them.

But the 53 year old insists the remarks he made were misconstrued and now he and his daughter are back on speaking terms.

He reportedly told Britain's The Sun on Sunday newspaper, "We've patched things up, everything's fine."

The reconciliation comes as Marc is battling bowel cancer.

A spokesperson for Adele has declined to comment.

The news comes two days after the Skyfall singer made a sensational return to the spotlight with the release of her emotionally-charged new video for Hello.

The Oscar winner also confirmed her much-anticipated third album, the follow-up to her mega successful 21, would be called 25. It will be released next month (Nov15).
