Adele breaks Psy's video streaming record

Adele has smashed a record set by South Korean pop star Psy by scoring one billion music video views on YouTube.com in the fastest time.

The Internet sensation became the first artist to ever score one billion views on the video-sharing site with his Gangnam Style promo back in 2012.

Psy achieved the feat within 159 days after the clip was first uploaded, and he has now been dethroned by Adele, who managed to rack up one billion views within only 88 days with her comeback single Hello.

Other videos to reach the total include Taylor Swift's Blank Space, See You Again by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth, Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars, and Justin Bieber's Baby.
