Adele bids on Malibu mansion

British soul singer Adele has made an offer on a luxurious mansion in Malibu, California.

The Rolling In The Deep singer is bidding on the oceanfront property, worth $8.3 million.

Adele already has a huge house in Brighton, England and she wants to add to her property portfolio with the mansion, which has an infinity pool, three large bedrooms, a temperature controlled wine room and a luxury outdoor barbecue area.

An estate agent tells British newspaper the Daily Star Sunday, "I think what truly blew her away was the panoramic ocean view from the stone deck outside. It's like being in your own private luxury resort."

The house is located in Los Angeles' millionaires' enclave and her neighbours will include former James Bond star Pierce Brosnan, singer and actress Barbra Streisand, and former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson.
