Adam Levine's wife Behati Prinsloo inks wedding ring tattoo

Adam Levine's new wife Behati Prinsloo has sealed her union with the singer by inking a tiny tattoo on her ring finger.

The Victoria's Secret model and the Maroon 5 frontman tied the knot in July (14), and due to the nature of her job, Prinsloo found herself unable to wear her wedding band or engagement ring much of the time.

During an interview with Yahoo! Style, Prinsloo showed off her simple solution - a tattoo of three tiny dots on her left ring finger.

She explained, "It means being one with the earth. And I just wanted it on my ring finger so when I take it (the ring) off, it's still there! I wanted a ring but everybody does the ring so I got the three dots."

Prinsloo is not the only celebrity who sports a wedding ring tattoo - Beyonce and Jay Z have matching roman numeral designs on their fingers, while actor Dax Shepard recently revealed an image of a bell to honour his wife Kristen Bell.
