Actress Candice Accola pregnant

Actress Candice Accola and her rocker husband Joe King are set to welcome their first child together.

The Vampire Diaries star exchanged vows with The Fray guitarist in October (14), and now the happy couple has announced it's expecting.

Accola broke the news to fans on Instagram.com on Monday (31Aug15) by posting a sweet photo of the parents-to-be, alongside King's two daughters from his first marriage.

In the snap, Accola is featured wearing a white vest top decorated with the word "Baby" written in a big heart across her growing belly, as King and his girls Ava and Elise all point at her bump.

King himself is pictured wearing a matching white T-shirt bearing the word "Superdad".

In the accompanying caption, the pregnant actress writes, "Sometimes a Saturday is best spent painting t-shirts and taking an awesome family photo. Happy Monday everybody! #ThatAintNoBurritoinMyBelly (sic)".

The child will be Accola's first.
