Rapper A$Ap Rocky is headlining a special tribute concert to his late friend A$Ap Yams on the first anniversary of his death.
Yams, founder of hip-hop collective A$AP Mob, died from acute mixed drug intoxication on 18 January (15), and exactly one year later in 2016, his friends and frequent collaborators will take to the stage at New York's Terminal 5 venue for the show, titled Yams Day.
A$AP Mob members Rocky and Lil Uzi will perform at the gig, as well
as close friend Joey Bada$$, with more special guests to be
announced.
Rocky has spent the past year making sure his friend's legacy is
kept alive, including helping to complete Yams' album that was in
the works at the time of his death.
