50 Cent's personal bank accounts frozen - report
Rapper 50 Cent's personal bank accounts have reportedly been frozen following an expensive legal battle.
The 21 Questions hitmaker allegedly failed to pay out $17 million after he was accused of copying the design of headphones by a company called Sleek Audio.
Bosses at the technology firm claimed the hip-hop star marketed the
design as his own, and judges sided with Sleek Audio in the legal
battle.
Editors at TMZ.com report that because the judgement wasn't paid,
50 Cent's personal bank account has since been frozen.
An attorney for the star tells the website they are appealing the
Sleek Audio judgement. Sleek bosses have allegedly been
"desperately attempting" to hold money from any accounts it can
locate and they insist 50 Cent's money is "appropriately
protected".
A source added that all the rapper's business accounts are safe and
only his personal account is in jeopardy.
