50 Cent's friend crashes Lamborghini sports car

Rapper 50 Cent is nursing a bruised ego after a female friend crashed his $300,000 sports car.

The In Da Club hitmaker was out with Tiffany Lighty, the daughter of his late manager Chris Lighty, in Brooklyn, New York on Friday (12Jun15) when he allowed her to get behind the wheel of his Lamborghini.

However, disaster struck as Tiffany attempted to maneuver around a car which had been double parked and ended up side swiping the vehicle, scratching the passenger's side as the wing mirror was ripped off, reports TMZ.com.

50 Cent played down the damage, insisting it was no big deal, and even agreed to pose for a photo with the other driver.

He then switched seats with Tiffany and the pair drove off.

They had been filming scenes for Tiffany's new reality TV show In the Light with Lighty, and she later took to her Instagram.com blog to share a snap of herself with the star.

In the caption, she referenced the accident by writing, "On set with this guy today! Thank you so much for coming out @50cent & being on my show...'In The Light with Lighty' coming soon! And I'm soo sorry about your car! #ISwearImAGoodDriver (sic)".

Chris Lighty was found with a gunshot wound to his head in his New York apartment in 2012. His death was ruled a suicide.
