30 Seconds to Mars reach for the sky at London rooftop gig
Written by . Published: June 19 2013
Rockers 30 Seconds To Mars reached new heights on Tuesday (18Jun13) when the band performed on the roof of the O2 Arena in London.
The group, led by frontman Jared Leto, braved the blustery English weather to play an acoustic set atop the huge venue - 173 feet (52.7 metres) above the banks of the River Thames.
The performance was in celebration of the O2 Arena's roof walk
experience first anniversary, and the rockers - who wore harnesses
for safety reasons - played tracks from the band's new album Love
Lust Faith & Dreams.
30 Seconds To Mars aren't the first band to perform on the roof of
the O2 - Bon Jovi played there in 2010.
