2 Chainz robbed at gunpoint

2 Chainz was the victim of an armed robbery on Sunday (09Jun13) when the rapper was held at gunpoint in San Francisco, California.

The hip-hop star told police his wallet was taken in the incident, and cops are investigating reports suggesting shots were fired, according to TMZ.com.

False rumours circulated on Twitter.com suggesting the rapper had been shot in the stand-off, but he is now said to have escaped without injury.

The star shrugged off the gossip on the social networking website when a fan asked him whether he had been shot, replying, "Haha yal (sic) believe anything."

The incident is believed to have occurred shortly before 2 Chainz's performance at the Oakland Summer Jam concert in Oakland, California.
