Just so that you feel a little bit closer to your roots. Thank you so much. We have a little Hey. Clotted cream. Clotted cream. Nice and cold. Oh, it is chilled. We've chilled it for her. It's very chilled. And nice. Hey everyone, Nikki Novak here in the Young Hollywood studio with Abduction's rising star Lily Collins.
Thank you.
This dress is insane.
Thank you so much. Beautiful. It's a funky one with lots of colors. I felt like being colorful today.
So you look very gorgeous, but you're kind of a badass in Abduction.
Thanks. I like to think that I I I mean, I did a lot of stunts and a lot of action and you could tell in the shot because John Singleton, the director, his shot making is so crisp and it's so vivid that you can tell that you and Taylor are doing your own stunts. You have 10 seconds to open that door. We can handle this. Five seconds. Leave the girl. You're better off alone. Well, where am I supposed to go? Take a breath. Chop! It's gonna be okay. Now!
And was that sort of, did you sign up to do your own stunts? Was that something that you sort of wanted to do or was that something he required?
Um, no, I I got a taste for doing my own stunts on Priest. And the action side of it really intrigued me and when I read the script, I saw a lot of opportunity to be able to do a lot of stunts. And I didn't know a lot of, you know, sometimes insurance purposes, you can't hurt yourself. We requested to John over and over again. We But Taylor and I both, like, we're gonna do it ourselves, right? Right? Right? And we bugged them so much.
Seriously?
Yeah. And then, um, and then he let us do a majority of it.
Now, you said you just got back from Montreal.
Yeah, this morning. I literally flew in. I'm playing Snow White. I'm playing Snow White. Yeah. I I this this all feels kind of like a fairy tale right now. Um, I flew in this morning. I was shooting a huge like fight sequence just now with swords and
Wait, Snow White is gonna be a badass?
Snow White is, yes. She has lots of lots of fight sequences. I mean, she's very much that fairy tale princess at the beginning and she evolves into a fighter and then becomes a young woman at the end. It's a really fun way of playing her because, you know, she is very much, everyone assumes her just to be that fairy tale princess. So we're kind of putting a twist on her.
And I have to, okay, I've said this before, Young Hollywood people think I'm a little bit crazy, but I'm I have an eyebrow fetish. I've mentioned it twice. I promise this is the last time I'm gonna mention it. You have amazing eyebrows. You have amazing. I've brought up eyebrows before. So we're gonna think I have a crazy fetish, which I kind of do.
You do?
But I know you can call. You wanna make out with my eyebrows. I kinda want to make out with them. You have really good eyebrows by the way.
Thank you. Thank you very much.
You worked on those or is that natural?
That's all natural. I don't know.
Do you know how much people pay for eyebrows like yours?
I've heard rumors. Yeah. I don't know. I've gotten that my whole life. Ever since, I mean, middle school, high school, people said to you, "No." You're not, but I appreciate it. You have the all-time best eyebrows.
Thank you very much.
In the business. Hands down.
Thank you.
I heard Tarsem made a comment about your eyebrows.
He did make a comment. He Tarsem says a few remarks, right? Interesting. And he says a lot of funny things. Um, he happened to love my eyebrows. And then the second he said that, everyone's like, "Oh my gosh." Tarsem loves eyebrows.
So you grew up in England.
I grew up in England. I moved here just before I turned six.
And you grew up your dad being Phil Collins. Did you ever think of getting into music?
Um, I've always loved music. It's a huge part of who I am. And I never say never. My focus is acting. And if something comes up within a film or within a project that requires some sort of song or musical.
Can you sing?
I love to sing.
I bet you're a great singer.
Um, I I I like writing songs and I love just having fun with it.
What's the most embarrassing like song on your on your iPod?
Oh my gosh. Well, I love like like vintage Britney and vintage. It's not vintage, like I don't know.
What's vintage Britney? Is it like Hit Me Baby One More Time? That's now vintage?
Well, I guess if you consider how many stages she's been through, you've got to have a vintage period.
True. She has been through a few stages. You know? But I went to I went to an 'N Sync concert where Britney opened for 'N Sync. And nobody knew who she was. So I feel like that's pretty vintage. Yeah. I know that you know, growing up there, you've said that you love your beans on toast. You love your English food. Marmite. Some people hate Marmite. You either love it or hate it. Well, we have a little present for you. You have a present. For the best eyebrows and the best hair ever at Young Hollywood.
Thank you.
Just so that you feel a little bit closer to your roots. Thank Lily Collins: you so much. We have a little Hey! Clotted cream. Clotted cream. Perfect thing before a premiere.
