R. J. here hanging out at the Young Hollywood Studio with Maggie Q. And we had one of your co-stars was here recently. Shane West was hanging out with us a couple weeks ago.

Have you taught him yoga yet?

I have never done yoga before but Maggie did finally get me to do that. Shane's um he's very athletic but he's not flexible. You know, so I started him with a basic sort of postures and movements and I was adjusting him and it's funny for men because you can be really strong and not hold a yoga posture. It's really interesting. I've I've taken I was awful when I tried it. I I've taken like incredible athlete friends and said do this posture and they're shaking in it. And they're strong guys. And it's it's funny what's going on with you guys. How there's the whole you know Brad Pitt Angelina thing and it's become Brangelina. And he's Michael on the show. And now we have Nikita. And Nikita is a big.

I have to give like major thanks to the Nikita verse. because that's what they call themselves.

Nikita.

Right. They they're just so loyal and so lovely. And it's it's just nice to create something and have it mean something to people. But also they call us Shaggy as well.

Why Shaggy? I haven't heard that one.

I I have no Shane Maggie. Oh. We're like, what? We it makes us laugh. It's very cute.

And then that's funny because you have priests and of course you're playing another bad ass. Yeah. But which character they would have to face off?

Think about Nikita is like a bad ass out of necessity. Right. She has a lot of, you know, she sort of has armor and all that, weapons. Whereas priestess was born with these heightened abilities.

She's got the rope dart though. Come on. How do you compete with the rope dart?

Yeah. And she literally she wears armor. If there is an actual uh thing called a rope dart. It's it's a weapon. It's a Chinese martial weapon. But this, you know, we fused it. I wanted it to be something that was inspired by the rope dart because my rope dart in the film has a knife on the end of it, which no weapon does in martial arts. So we did that, we added that and and then my weapon sort of comes it's a rosary then it comes out of a rosary into what I say is sort of a lasso because it is a Western, a vampire sort of Western post-apocalyptic, you know, sort of there there is a real Western feel to the film.

Now I want to talk a little bit about trends cuz what do what are you loving right now?

The creator of Nikita, Craig Silverstein, he had, he was the one that introduced me to Angry Birds. And so I was I was playing it and then he I was he was like, well why are you're so obsessed? I'm like, well I'm just trying to beat your score. Right. You know, he goes like, he's like, why are you trying to beat why are you trying to beat my score? I'm like, this is what I'm supposed to do. Right. He's like, no. I just want you to try it out. So I ended up trying I did I did beat his score on

Speaking of birds and animals, you are an animal lover.

Yes.

How many dogs do you have to now?

Um, well, no, I'm down to actually. Um, I've got three now.

Only three.

Yeah. At one point I had a lot more and um,

What were you at there at the highest?

Uh, eight at the highest. And at one point I thought, you know, I could save the dog world by rescuing everyone and I finally had, you know, a friend and a trainer sit me down and say, Maggie, you cannot save them all. Like you just save the ones that you can. Manage your life and then speak about your rights work and, you know, do it that way.
