What it Takes To Be a Part of Cirque du Soleil’s OVO

It's always a wild and exciting experience whenever Cirque du Soleil comes to town, and this time, they're here to stay! For a little while, anyway. After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the amazing circus company returns to Los Angeles with their incredible show 'OVO', which explores the life cycle of insects through the art of movement. This particular show will be enjoying a 5-year residency at the Microsoft Theater at LA Live, and Young Hollywood heads there to get a sneak peek before its big opening! In a rare treat, we catch the performers in full costume and makeup as they chat with us about how 'OVO' differs from other Cirque shows and what sort of prep and training they did to keep in shape during the long hiatus, and then we jump into the fray ourselves by doing some warmups and learning a few crazy stunts!
