Summer 2022 is finally upon us, and with that, of course, comes sunshine, relaxation, and fun vacations. BUT we have to remember to always chase that bag, especially during the Summer! How are we supposed to afford all of our Summer activities without any money?! No worries, because, as always, TikTok has got us covered.
Starting Summer 2021, many TikTok users began sharing with the world their favorite Summer job: beverage cart attending! And as Summer 2022 came around, the popular trending job has made an appearance on our FYP once again.
Now, what is beverage cart attending, you ask? Beverage cart attendant jobs are usually on golf courses and require you to drive around and serve drinks, and sometimes snacks, to patrons that are out golfing for the day. Typical daily duties include: stocking and un-stocking the golf-cart, refilling customer’s ice and drinks, and regular customer check-ups. To be a beverage cart attendant you need to be at least 18 years of age. So, basically, you drive around in a golf cart all day and hand out drinks. Pretty cool, huh?

Okay, now to the big question: How much does it pay? Well, similar to waitresses at a restaurant, beverage cart attendants make about $5 to $15 an hour, varying depending on the golf club, and receive the rest of their pay in tips. The good thing is, tips while beverage attending are really high (which is probably the majority of the reason why this is everyone's favorite Summer job, amirite?). To get this job, you more than likely want to have a friendly and bubbly personality, as this will help you secure some pretty sweet tips. TikTokers have been said to make between $200-$500 in tips a day! Crazy, right?!
