“The Bachelor” Recap, Episode 4: WTF, Victoria?!?! (Both P. and F.!)

Written by Nicole Koch. Published: January 28 2020

Cheers to being ONLY 4 episodes in… [*pours more wine*]

Is it just me, or do you guys feel like we’ve been watching the theatrics unfold for MONTHS?

Each episode is 2 hours long and do they even get anywhere?! Listen, don’t get me wrong, I love this show, and it makes for INCREDIBLE TV, but I’m seriously waiting for some progress, man! C’mon, Peter, you can do this!

Check out my recap below from last night’s episode if you wanna know what I mean:

The Most Dramatic Moment

The girls this season are so damn bold!!!

I know we’re all used to the girls calling eachother out and speaking their minds with EACH OTHER, but what about with The Bachelor?! The girls were PISSED and decided to tell Peter how sick and tired they are about his indulgence in the drama.

His attention has been seriously focused on Hannah Ann vs. Kelsey, Victoria P. vs. Alayah, and Alayah just in general. So much so, that the girls feel ignored and "unseen" by him, and it was enough to tell him straight up.

The Cringiest Moment

Honestly, what the eff is going on between these two?!

If you don’t know, long story short: Alayah and Victoria P. knew each other before the show (they’re both in pageants). Victoria P. claims that Alayah told her to lie about knowing each other to Peter, and Alayah feels betrayed by Victoria P. because of this.

Peter brings Alayah back on the show after sending her home last week, which puts all of the girls, mostly Victoria P., in a tailspin. Both of the girls are talking badly about each other to Peter, so he FINALLY puts all 3 of them in one room to hash it out.

Cue sitting there for about 5 minutes questioning reality because neither of them make any damn sense.

THEN, the cringiest part happens – As Alayah starts to cry, Victoria P. wipes Alayah’s tear from her face, clearly showing they have a relationship of some sort. So awkward. Who’s the real liar here?!

The Most Emotional Moment

The Devil works hard but "The Bachelor" producers work harder.

Peter takes Victoria F. (notice the last intial change up here!) on a one-on-one date. He flies her to a theme park where they ride rollercoasters and have an amazing time. Peter surprises her with one more thing – a performance by a country artist, just for them… with an entire sea of people as their audience. Sounds normal, right? Well, it’s not.

The performer, Chase Rice, and Victoria F. apparently used to date, and according to Victoria F., he told her he didn’t want her to come onto the show.

Chase has since gone to press, claiming he knew she was going to be on the show but only came on to promote his music. According to ET Online, he claims they only spent one night together… meanwhile Victoria F. is bawling her eyes out hours later because she was making out with Peter in front of her most recent ex. Check it out:

The “Yes, Girl!” Moment

Victoria F. is known as the shy, timid, and sometimes insecure girl on the show, but I’m featuring her in this category because piss her off, give her some red wine and she’s a totally different human.

When Alayah was sent home, she was given access to her phone and the internet, where she found out about Victoria F. and Chase Rice’s relationship. When she returns to the show, Alayah tells some of the girls about this and it spreads like wildfire throughout the house. Victoria F. gets word of this, storms into Alayah’s hotel room, and gives it to her STRAIGHT.

I still don’t know how I feel about Victoria F., but we love someone standing up for themselves in this house!!!

The Funniest Moment

The group date this week looked like so much fun!

Peter took a group of the girls to a stadium, where the girls played tackle football. You see Peter running up and down the sidelines like a football coach, totally loving every second. The girls are intense af and so competitive, which is hilarious to watch.

The funniest moment? When Victoria P. decides “her back hurts” and she can’t play. She then sits on the bench with Peter and gets a back massage from him. Smart, smart girl.

Well, there you have it, folks.

What are YOUR thoughts on the Victorias, Alayah, and anyone else?!
