Wow, another remake of a classic horror film… are you surprised? I have always been a sucker for original versions of movies, so naturally I had to check this one out. Child’s Play is a remake of the 1988 movie that was directed by Tom Holland. The plot follows a toy doll named Chucky, who is actually evil and terrorizes children and their families. This updated version has a more modern twist, though, making Chucky less of a toy and more of a household A.I., like Alexa gone rogue. I knew from the trailers alone that I had to see this movie, and I suggest you do too... with the lights on.
