J.Lo, Constance Wu, Cardi B, Lili Reinhart, & More Work Hard For the Money in First 'Hustlers' Trailer!
All these girls need is the MONEY. The official trailer for the movie Hustlers is finally out and oh is it good. The movie, starring Constance Wu, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart, Lizzo, and Cardi B, is about a group of strippers who steal from their rich clients. Hustling is their way of life. Check out the trauiler below to see it for yourself, but WARNING: these boss women look BOMB… they may just con you into giving up a little money.
Set against Cardi B's "Money" playing throughout, the trailer starts off with J.Lo, AKA Ramona, on the pole, showing Constance Wu, AKA Destiny, a few stripper moves. It’s notable that she is showing Constance Wu how to carousel around the pole when J.Lo took strip lessons in preparation for this role. I guess she has a few tricks up her sleeve now.
J.Lo definitely takes the lead role throughout the trailer. She is the mastermind behind this whole operation and she is not here to play.
Destiny needs the money to take care of her grandma and fulfill her shopping wants, but all the money she earns is split with the man working the strip club. Although she seems annoyed in the trailer, Ramona has a plan to fix this, and that is to steal from their clients.
Ramona defends her plan to steal from the Wall Street men by saying that they steal from everyone and don’t get punished. Ramona says, “The game is rigged and it does not reward people who play by the rules.”
The family of strippers begin to take advantage of these men. They don’t drink but they make sure their clients have more than enough to quench their thirst. Things start to get a little out of hand, but the ladies don’t seem to mind. They’re just chasing a bag, because there is nothing in this world that they like more than the… MONEY.
Did you catch towards the end of the trailer how they do quick snaps of all the strippers?!?! This female cast is more than amazing! In particular, it's very interesting to see both Constance Wu and Lili Reinhart in these roles, which are a far departure from the more button-up TV roles their known for on "Fresh Off The Boat" and "Riverdale", respectively.
Catch all these women in theaters getting their big fat checks and big large bills on September 13!
