HIDDEN ON STREAMING: "Glitch"

"Glitch" just entered its 3rd season on Netflix, and I was immediately hooked when I started bingeing it over a year ago. By the time I joined the series, they already had the first 2 seasons released, but whether a Season 3 was in the works was unknown. Now that it’s here, I can’t wait to finish off this addicting story.

Our story starts in a fictional Australian town called Yoorana. One night, a whole bunch of people wake up naked and confused from the local graveyard when authorities arrive to try and figure out what is going on. It turns out that everyone who awoke in the cemetery was deceased and now has risen from the dead in perfect health. Thus begins the search for them to figure out who they were, how they died, and why they’ve all come back. James, the head of the police department, teams up with local doctor Elishia to protect them and search for answers.

The show follows the different characters throughout the series and intertwines their stories. You get backstories in flashbacks, and you watch as these characters try to assimilate in modern times because each character is from a different generation. You have a war veteran, a girl who was murdered, a criminal, the sheriff's wife, and even a plantation owner.

Everyone discovers they can’t leave town or they begin to die again, but soon the boundary begins to shrink. As they fight for answers, they start to get hunted by people who seem to be possessed by something. There’s a reason they have all risen from the dead, but there is even a more significant reason why someone, or something, wants them to be dead again.
