[Cue Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone scene where a mass amount of Hogwarts acceptance letters bombard Harry’s home]

College of Wizardry”
Yes, you guys, I’m talking to you! Die-hard Harry Potter fans now have a chance to attend the real-life “after Hogwarts” school at a Polish Castle next Spring (uh, sign me up!). Students who attend will be given a robe, house tie, and study book. They are then sorted into five houses (Durentius, Faust, Libussa, Molin, and Sendivogius) and encouraged to create emotional drama similar to what was read in the J.K. Rowling novels. That means love triangles and life-and-death rivalries, people! The “collaborative experience” allows fans to take classes like Defense Against the Dark Arts and Potions (the best classes ever, duh), play Quidditch, and even attend a magical ball! Count me in! Harry, will you be my date?
Polish company Liveform and Rollespilsfabrikken first staged a Live Action Role Play (LARP) event (created by volunteers) based on the J.K. Rowling blockbuster book series and movie franchise last month. Nearly 200 participants from 11 countries traveled to Poland to don wizard robes and cast spells! Man, Harry Potter fans are sirius.
Check out this super cool promo that highlights last month’s event:
How awesome does that look? It’s only costs a couple hundred dollars to attend -- plus whatever it costs to get to Poland.
Prepare yourselves because registration begins on December 11!
Now I want to binge watch all of the movies tonight…
