"Leave it to Beaver"

It’s safe to say that "Leave it to Beaver" is the show that started the trend of coming back stronger post-cancelation. It first premiered on CBS in 1958 and was canceled after just the first season. Luckily, ABC picked up the show, which then went on to air for 5 more seasons. I think it’s safe to say that this transition was successful, considering the fact that reruns of the show are still airing. Could you imagine a world in which the Cleavers didn’t exist? Because I know I couldn’t!
