2. Sandra Bullock’s Heart-Warming Message to Her Children

The speech that Sandra Bullock gave after winning the award for Most Frightened Performance was frighteningly heartwarming. The actress shared with the audience that the inspiration for her role in Netflix’s Bird Box film was her children. In fact, she revealed that that she decided to take the role after her children asked her why she didn’t make any movies for them. “I wanted you to see what being a family looks like. Sometimes you are born into a family and sometimes you need to go find it. Sometimes it finds you. But no matter how it comes together, when it does, family is what you fight for,” she said. While she made it clear that they can’t watch it until they are at least 21 years old, Bullock joked that she didn’t think they would be too disappointed until then after they revealed to her that they really just wanted her to take a role as a superhero.
