5 Important Life Lessons I Learned From The 'Toy Story' Movies!
2. Don’t Judge a Book By Its
Cover
Toy Story taught me this lesson in two different
circumstances and two different ways. In the first movie, Woody
judges Buzz because he is the new toy and is afraid he won’t be
played with anymore, so he ultimately wants to shut Buzz out. But
in the end, after putting his differences aside, he becomes
inseparable from Buzz and the two are the best of friends. In the
third movie, however, you see the same situation but in reverse.
Lots-o the Bear is perceived as helpful and friendly, so everyone
welcomes him in. But he turns his back on everyone and becomes a
villain, teaching everyone that "nice" is different than "good".
You need to get to know someone before you decide their character,
and this is a lesson we all need to remember.
